Qualifying for Nationals

American Youth Football and Cheerleading has 8 conferences, they are the: Pacific, Desert Mountain, Mid-West, Southwest, Big-East, Atlantic, Northeast and Southeast.

Regional competitions are
scheduled in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving weekend.  Each region is responsible for scheduling their own regional tournament, dates therefore may vary accordingly.

The first, second and third place teams in each division in each regional competition automatically qualify and receive a berth to play in the American Youth Cheerleading National Championship tournament.

For more information on your regional competition click here.

How to qualify for the AYF National Competition:  Teams must be affiliated with the American Youth Football League.  Teams must have ranked 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in a Regional AYF Competition.  If an AYF Competition was not offered at the Regional level, a ranking of 1st, 2nd or 3rd place finish must be accomplished at your local AYF Conference Competition.
