Corporate Giving Programs

In 2006 Corporations gave an estimated $12.72 billion in 2006 of a total of $295.02 billion donated in the United States by foundations, individuals and charitable bequests (according to Giving USA 2007, the yearbook of philanthropy published by Giving USA FoundationTM and researched and written by the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.)

Several corporate donor programs are available to accommodate any size business, each of which provides needed resources to youth football participants and programs in the United States and/or abroad.

Through our Corporate Giving Programs, corporations can specifically direct their giving efforts based on their own giving preferences , including but not limited to geography, age, principal use of funds, scholarship, capital campaigns, field construction/improvement, etc. All corporate giving activities are properly recognized and attributed to the benefactor, unless expressly instructed otherwise.

Scholarships

Scholarships may be funded or provided by individuals, corporations, trusts, foundations, charitable bequests, non-profit organizations or endowments for the benefit of youth football participants based on appropriate award criteria. Scholarships may be underwritten and dispensed for academic purposes, including but not limited to colleges, universities, trade schools, and/or sport/athletic training programs/clinics.

Scholarship awards for post secondary education will be held for the benefit of the intended recipient/awardee by American Youth Football until such time as the awardee enrolls in an institution of higher education and provides proof of said enrollment. Awards may be made directly to the institution or to the awardee himself/herself.

*We do not accept scholarships from privately run, for profit corporations who promote and operate youth football camps/clinics that merely offset the costs associated with attending the same privately run, for profit football camps or clinic.

Trusts & Endowments

Trusts and endowments are self directed, self administered giving programs created by individuals, foundations or corporations for a specific purpose enumerated in a written instrument. Football Financial Aid and American Youth Football will work to identify and direct deserving youth football participants that match the parameters of your intended beneficiaries. Additionally, we may upon a mutual determination by and between us and the settlor/creator of the trust/endowment serve in various capacities with regard to the trust/endowment, from: an advisory position, to holding a board seat or even serving as a/the trustee and/or administrator of the trust or endowment. Trusts/endowments are typically funded with $500,000 or more.
