Ronald Rabe

Ronald Rabe has been a member of the Little Cards Youth Football Program for 25 years as a parent, coach, and currently, as program director. Ronald joined the program in 1979 as a coach and parent. Throughout his years as a coach, he has coached several hundred players and has accumulated numerous league titles. But his greatest influence came in 1999, when he took over as program director. At that time, the program was facing declining participation, financial troubles, and threat to its fields, and playing in a league that was in disarray. Ronald immediately changed the league name to Little Cards, linking it to the local high school, the Colerain High School Cardinals. His fundraising program revived the league's finances, brought together community groups to help revitalized a run-down athletic complex to use for fields, and put the focus back on kids to make the league stronger. The organization is now one that players and parents are proud to call their own.
