Read on a below for a general summary of previous years' American Youth Football All-Star events. For information on how to get involved in this years' festivities contact the National Office today.

 

2011/12 Under Armour All-Star Game

 

AYF and AYC athletes were given the opportunity to ring in the New Year at the AYF All- Star Game! The 2011 season culminated with the All Star performance at the Tropicana Dome in Tampa, Florida. This event brought 72 of the top 14 and 15 year old AYF Football Players from across the nation to participate in the All America festivities and play for the All Star Title. It also brought 20 of the top Cheerleaders to cheer them on! Starting their journey at the Walt Disney World's Yacht and Beach Club, AYFers stepped into style as they got fully geared up in Under Armour's apparel and uniforms. After practices at ESPN's Wide World of Sports, players relaxed in the Players Lounge where they watched bowl games, played Ping Pong, and video games while getting to know each other. During the week, AYFers got to cheer on the nations top high school recruits at the Under Armour Skills Challenge. The kids had the opportunity to support them again during the Jersey Presentation where they learned about the importance of working hard. Later in the week, AYF players got to meet NFL Stars including Herman Edwards, Deion Sanders, Chris Weinke, Steve Mariucci, Keyshawn Johnson, and the greatest surprise of all – Cam Newton!

As Game day approached, AYF All Star families and fans gathered in the Tropicana Dome Field level hospitality area to cheer on the East and West coast teams. The AYC cheerleaders had an incredible half time performance and multiple routines that they learned in just two days. Final score of the game was West 42 vs East 8.

 

Following the AYF Game, AYF football players led the Under Armour ALL America High School Players on the field for their introductions-- chest bumps and high fives got the High-school players amped up for their own game.

2010/11 Under Armour All-Star Game

 

This season the AYF and AYC All Stars not only showed off their incredible skills in theTropicana Dome prior to the Under Armour All America Game, but AYFers were featured in all aspects of the week and shared an experience of a lifetime!

 

AYF All Star's kicked off the New Year at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs resort in style as they got fully geared up in Under Armour's apparel and uniforms. After practices at ESPN's Wide World of Sports, players relaxed in the Ultimate Players Lounge, where they watched bowl games and played ping pong and video games with the top high school players in the nation. AYFers cheered on the nations top recruits at the Under Armour Skills Challenge where former AYF QB, Brett Hundley won the Quarterback Challenge. Later in the week, AYF mingled with NFLers and took in the Jersey Presentation Ceremony where Steve Mariucci, Mike Ditka, Chris Weinke, and other great stars and role models represented UA Football.

 

As game day approached, AYF All Star families and fans took to a Tropicana Dome Field level hospitality area and cheered on the East and West in a great game and the AYC cheerleaders kept all spirits high! The final score was East 38 vs West 16.
Following the AYF Game, AYF football players led the Under Armour ALL America High School Players on the field for their introductions, and then were on field again for a halftime 'Fabolous' performance and another post game performance along with the awards ceremony where AYFers congratulated their high school counterparts and were part of the post game media circus.

2009/10 Under Armour All-Star Game

 

Once again, the AYF and AYC All Stars from the 2009 Season took to Florida to be part of the Under Armour All America Game. Although we have seen great play every year, this year featured one of the most impressive on-field performances...ever! Both teams came with swagger to the Tropicana Dome in St. Pete on January 2nd 2010, ultimately the East came out on top with a final score of 37- 26.

 

Over the weekend players hung out at Disney, in the players lounge, mingled with the top high school players, hit the Skills competition at Disneys Wide World of Sports, spent time with former NFL players, and were up front for the Young Jeezy performance, while coaches heard from Sam Wyche and others, and cheerleaders got down to business practicing with AYC All-Star and UCA Coaches.

2008/09 Under Armour All-Star Game

 

The 2009 Under Armour AYF All-Star Game was an awesome experience! Between their practice schedule, the AYF All-Stars had the chance to hang out in the Under Armour Players Lounge with the top 80 High School Prospects in the nation and take in their favorite players at the Burger Skills Challenge at Disney's Wide World Of Sports. AYF All-Stars tested some of the skills themselves and impressed quite a few High School players along the way!

 

AYF All-Stars had the privilege of being addressed by Coach Tom Tuberville and several NFL Greats including: Chris Carter, Joe Andruzzi, Eric Metcalf, George Teague, Michael Dean Perry and Blaise Winter, while AYF Coaches were addressed by Legendary Coach Marv Levy.

 

The AYF All-Star teams took the field in the Citrus Bowl on Jan 4th before the All-American Game, fully geared in their new Under Armour and blew the crowd away with their talent, speed and some outstanding trick plays. After an evenly matched game, the East came out on top.

 

After the AYF game, the All-Stars took their seats in the End-Zone Tent and enjoyed the first half of the game until they were brought back out on the field and placed in the front row for the Ludacris half-time show.
