Gov Markell recognizes Wilmington Soldiers

The Wilmington Soldiers travelled to Kissimee Florida in December with three teams which qualified for the National Championships.  The excellence of their program was evident as both their All American 5th Grade and All American 7th Grade teams took home the National Champions Title. This outstanindg achievement warranted a visit by Governor Markell who was impressed with the players' achievments both on and off the field.  The Wilmington Soldiers program emphasizes education, respect, discipline and good citizenship.
