Who Can Join
American Youth Football welcomes all teams, leagues, conferences and
organizations to join AYF.
Our membership includes, Boys & Girls Clubs, Police Athletic Leagues (PALs,)
Optimist Clubs, Park and Rec. leagues, JCC's, local community organizations,
Jr. high schools, city leagues, community centers, and many others.
If you are an existing youth football or cheer program or you represent a
new organization that would like to bring youth football and/or cheer to
your community contact us to become a charter member of American Youth
Football.
Why to Join
Join AYF to become a part of the largest youth football organization in the
United States. As a member of AYF you are part of an organization that is
completely committed to the sport of youth football, to the people that
dedicate their time and effort to ensuring that AYF players have a great and
rewarding experience on the field and act as responsible individuals and
leaders off the field.
We can help your existing youth football and cheer program and we can help
you and your community setup a program.
American Youth Football, is a non-intrusive, non-controlling organization,
our rules, exist in two independent structures.
First - You are free to play in accordance with your own locally
adopted and current governing rules, in so long as your rules subscribe to
the following governing principles.
1. Safety,
2. Sportsmanship and
3. Full Participation, (Everyone gets to play.)
Second - If your organization plans to participate in AYF regional
and national tournament competition, your organization must play in
accordance with AYF adopted rules. This is only mandatory if you plan on
playing in AYF inter-league competitions.
AYF Age/Weight and Grade Based Age Protected Divisions make AYF
the most competitive youth football in the World.

to make certain that we are making the jobs of our league administrators
