Former AYF Player and University of Virginia Defensive Lineman Chris Long (who would not have played youth football in other leagues do to his size) was Drafted # 2 overall by the St Louis Rams in Round One. Good luck Chris !

American Youth Football, the nations largest youth football organization, congratulates the AYF East and West participants of the first ever national youth football All-Star Game.  American Youth Football's  inaugural Youth All-Star game was a part of the U.S. Army All American Bowl and was played at the Alamo Dome in  San Antonio, Texas.

AMERICAN YOUTH FOOTBALL ALL-STAR GAME!

The first ever national youth all-star game was played at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas on January 5th 2008.  American Youth Football All-Stars met NFL HALL OF FAMERS, and interacted with the Nations' Football High School All-Stars.  American Youth Football All-Stars will meet Coach Bill Yost and Coach Herman Boone (from Remember the Titans) and Vince Papale (from Invincible movie)  among others!! Also, attend the official US ARMY Welcome Party and other exciting experiences.

American Youth Football and CDC Team-Up on Youth Sports Concussion Initiative

The “Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports,” initiative includes a free tool kit to help coaches, parents, and fellow athletes recognize the symptoms of a concussion and provides actions that need to be taken when an athlete is showing signs of a concussion.  The tool kit is free-of-charge and includes a clipboard with essential and easy to use information about recognizing and responding to a suspected concussion. “AYF SPECIAL TEAMS” –American Youth Football programs for physically and mentally challenged youth are popping up all over the U.S.A!  AYF runs different variations of programs for special teams in Ohio, Connecticut, Chicago, Staten Island, NY and West Virginia! If you want more information or are running a Special Teams Program in your neighborhood, let us know about it!


Super Bowl Week Academic All-Star Game.  During Super Bowl week American Youth Football presented an academic scholarship award  of $1,000 at the the East-West Academic All-Star game in Miami, to the academic all star including from each team with the highest GPA.  AYF's Academic Achievement Alliance has  awarded a total of $61,000 in scholarships this year.
